It’s actually kinda strange about the “reporting” dynamic. Houston would be at the top of the list but for some reason, the City can get away with massive under reporting of crime. Of course, every couple of years or so, the FBI comes in to do an audit and slaps HPD wrists about “mis-reporting” but by then, it’s all history anyway. Their biggest help in this ruse is the local newspaper which only covers the most outrageously pulbic type crimes; I have to I suppose because of the large number of witnesses. We hear gunshots every week; but the “clean up crews” that make up the remnant of HPD come out and scrub up the area before anyone much knows what happened.
