If you were convinced that you were doing God's will, would you be budged by a captor who gives you priority health care, a religiously correct diet, special worship privileges and free legal counsel? Mr. Peters is 100% correct. America lost her will to win wars after VJ Day. Restricted/limited warfare is meaningless. A “surgical strike” with precision weaponry is just a tactical advantage. Taking out a terrorist here or there is simply target practice. Wars are won when one side loses the will to fight and surrenders. Every means must be employed to force the enemy to lose that will. If we refuse to fully mobilize and get the job done (go in, destroy the enemy, get out), we must be prepared to endure continued (and escalating) attacks on our country and populace.
