The NRCC did NOT choose Scozzy. She was chosen by the eleven county chairs in the district who were chosen by the grassroots Republicans in the area. The NRCC had nothing to do with it.

It was strictly a local event.

I can only go by what I read, since I’m not a NYer. When the issue first came up I investigated and most sources I found all said the same thing. NRCC chose to back Dede. (http://www.bing.com/search?q=NRCC+chose+Dede&FORM=MSNH11&qs=n)

If you have a link showing otherwise, could you post it. I’d appreciate it.
