I have a couple recipes my Mom made. Neither my wife nor I can duplicate them. Very frustrating. One is a recipe for crumbly cake the family calls Mrs. Busse’s Famous Crummy Coffee Cake. No one in the family, even having the recipe, has been able to make it taste the same. Sheesh...
It’s so frustrating. And I can duplicate things that I helped her to make but not things that I simply watched. Unreal.
