What gives anyone the right to ask a question here at Free Republic? It’s not like I’m hypnotizing you to answer against your will.

I detest hypocrites, for one thing. To accuse Newt of being a RINO just for having supported the Republican pick, Dede......even while having supported AND VOTED FOR the RINO Republican candidate, McCain, in the ‘08 election..... strikes me as beyond the pale in hypocrisy. Don’t you agree?

To hear some Newt-haters here, Republicans that supported or voted for McCain would automatically qualify as RINOs. Their logic (or lack thereof) is absurd and asinine.

You cannot in all good conscience compare me to Newt. My opinion isn't reported in the press. Support him if you wish, your choice, but leave us alone. We have opinions of Newt based on facts.

Either Newt knowingly endorsed a Commie loving Rino or he blindly toed party line. You can keep your hero.

Freepers voted for Sarah not McCain and we cried all the way to the ballot box. Not Newt. He supported Scozzafava even after she campaigned for Owens. Keep him. And leave those of us who think for ourselves alone
