Lakewood is about 25 miles south of Seattle, a solid middle class city, with very little crime to speak of. It is a suburb of Tacoma, and the place is VERY close to Ft Lewis Army base...the home of the Stryker brigade.

Is the property a for-profit business? If so, it could be a backhanded insult to Lenin. Kind of like the nightclub called Cuba in Galway Ireland. It has pictures of Che in it and kids are dancing, drinking and doing exstacy under his image while spending lots of money.

Well, expect the antis to use the blood of the officers to further their agenda.

Someone should have protested that by now.....

Someone should have put a cable around its neck and pulled it over with a wrecker ... or better, a garbage truck. Although I see it's not too big, so maybe just a good ol boy with a big Diesel dualie.

KING5 reporting large police presence at Marketplace grocery in Parland, Wa.

Something about a vehicle they wanted related to the case being spotted...

And everyone else in the shop was spared. One white male and one black male suspect. Dirty cops?

We have two reports. The first was "one black male and one white male". The second seems more specific, is one black male only, 5'6" sruffy clothes. There is also a report of the suspect car-jacking a pickup truck.

One Black Muslim and one not-so-black Muslim?

Lots of possibilities. One Pakistani, one Arab. One Somali one "Palestinian". One Yemeni, one Kenyan.

Thank you. Also pretty conservative. Lots of churches, military support, etc.
I live 20 mins south of the shooting and am amazed by the stuff posted here, apparently by people who live farther away.

Fine, but Tacoma is part of the larger Seattle metro area. Kind of like Newark is part of the New York City metro area.

One black male who fled south on foot.
At least originally.

The poster upthread said there were no mosques in the area. I know that a lot of times these people work out of store fronts. You would be surprised what is going on in back rooms. I don’t know this neighborhood, so you are probably right but a lot of small urban lib locations have these “store front” mosques.

So the owners have created a moral conundrum: do principled conservatives violate his property rights to destroy an image, or do they support his property rights even though he is glorifying someone who is a mass murderer and did not respect property rights.

I found one photo where someone had hung a sign around the neck. "Lenin is Dead. God is Alive". I can dig it.

Radio is telling people to stay away and there is apparently a massive police response. They're saying it is dangerous to be in the area. Lots of people stuck in their cars in the area.

When the police acted stupidly.
Obamo has no respect for Police.
Here is a predicable result of his contempt for Law Enforcement
