I don’t think I’ve ever seen that kind of vitriol directed against “A Charlie Brown Christmas”. Wow.
It’s not about ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’, but rather the whole Charlie Brown concept as a cartoon.
As a kid I found the television presentation of Charlie Brown to be one of the most annoying cartoons I had seen. As an adult I continued to see the presentations in that light.
I know a lot of people like it. That’s okay. I’m mostly roasting them here. I don’t mind you taking the opposite position. I’m glad you enjoy it.
