Well, what do you think, why keep them over there if they are configugred for a war of attrition and not victory.Obama should have allocated 60,000 troops.

I also belive that we will have a war tax soon, which is one way he convinced the lefties of this continued deployment.

I wish I could say bring them home now.but he fact is that if victory will happenn in Afghanistan , it will have to come through other NATO members.

I think he’ll push a war tax on the wealthy and probably get it. It is only party a sop to the small anti-war left faction, however IMHO. He doesn’t really need them, especially when he can count of conservatives to support the deployment!

I don't think he ever used the words 'victory' or 'win.' In any case, if I understand this correctly, it will take us 9 months to get the half-stepping step-up of troops in country. Then all of the troops must be out a year after that. ???

Is this just an exercise in moving troops and equipment around the globe and back?
