Gujarat Fluorochemicals of India has the carbon trading scam down to an art form already. They make millions from carbon credits by scrubbing CO2 from their emissions and pumping the byproduct of the scrubbing into the ground where it contaminates the groundwater with hydrocloric acid and a few other nasty things.
They were smart enough to make sure that only the emissions into the air would be monitored before getting on board with the carbon credit scam.
Actually, the major item on my “don’t go list”, besides not being able to easily bring my daughter, is that without the strong damping effect of a robust US, Pakistan or China may be tempted to test India’s resolve or even engage in an outright (if limited) nuclear exchange.

Astounding, but true. Score two for the Chicoms in saving us from our homegrown communists, like the Illegal Alien, who want to destroy our freedom, sovereignty, and prosperity. Never in 1,000 years did I think I'd have cause to praise the Chicoms, in total good faith, as I am doing now.
So why should they attend Copenhagen in the first place, if they don't want those burdens imposed on them? Maybe they believe that those will be imposed only on "rich" countries. No, that doesn't make sense. News flash: the USA is borrowing a lot of money from China.
Were they hoping on BRIC?
Missed it by one.
