Conservatives are a feisty bunch very independent and they are quick to identify with the tea party and to send the GOP a message.

However, the poll also shows that splitting off as a third party puts democrats in power. So let’s not get too cocky.

I take this as the GOP is now the "third party" and needs to disband and choose sides as to which of the two parties they will identify with.

Yes indeed. Let’s remain wise about this whole matter. Challenge and eject RINOs, force the GOP into the Tea Party’s hands and then run hard against the socialism/communism of Obammy/cReid/PelosLIE.

From the numbers...seems to me that the GOP needs to join the Tea Party...not the other way around.

Actually the real opportunity is to split the Dems. The far left is pissed beyond belief at 0 and there is a clear opportunity to split them off. Nader or someone like him needs to go Dem and blow the place apart.

I am desperately hoping that the tea party movement targets primary elections to get conservatives back in the Republican tickets. We need to stick with Republicans instead of splitting the vote in the general election. I think you are right about getting cocky about this. We risk destroying our country even more by allowing the Democrat to win.

Nah, it's more a case of Republicans running as dem-lites who keep putting dems in power.
