New Poll Shows Large Number Want Bush Back
Flopping Aces ^ | 12-10-09 | Mike's America

It seems Hoax and Change doesn't sit well after a few months!

I've already done a story this week on Obama's huge drop in job approval in the latest polls. He's at a lower level of approval at this point in his presidency than any predecessor in modern times.

So this new twist from Public Policy Polling won't surprise many:

Perhaps the greatest measure of Obama's declining support is that just 50% of voters now say they prefer having him as President to George W. Bush, with 44% saying they'd rather have his predecessor. Given the horrendous approval ratings Bush showed during his final term that's somewhat of a surprise and an indication that voters are increasingly placing the blame on Obama for the country's difficulties instead of giving him space because of the tough situation he inherited.
If your pining for a return of class over crass, walk down memory lane with the Bush Thankathon we launched last year.

Well, I remember saying that after 3 years of Obama, people will be longing for President Bush again. Seems I was wrong, it didn’t take 3 years.

Bad News,Obama has brought us: Tax Increases into a depression, make believe stimulus, Take over of Auto Industry, Stimulus of 6 Million Tax payer dollars to save 3 jobs (Hillary PAYOFF), Embarrassed us abroad with apoligies, and still trying to ruin our health care and ruin our economy with more Socialist policy.

Free Fall in polls will help us take back the Government when the Democrats lose Congress. That is 12 Months AWAY!

Good News: Its the Perfect Storm to take back our government. The Democrats do not know how to govern and it's showing.

I think Obama might actually succeed in unifying the country in record time. It just won’t be the way he expected.

I have been longing for NIXON for some time now...Or Caligula. Or Idi Amin.

George W. Bush, with 44% saying they'd rather have his predecessor.

Does this mean Bush is only slightly less worthy as a candidate than was John McCain?

Maybe the average voter realizes what a clown is Obama. Regardless of that, there are only two polls that matter on this issue. One will be taken in eleven months. Another will be taken in thirty-five months.

Rush keeps saying the electorate in angry. I don't sense that. I hope I'm wrong. So far no Republicans are offering a conservative message to make my inner thighs tingle ala Chris Matthews swooning over Obama. I hope a message manifests.

If a conservative message doesn't sway the electorate, we are about through.

There was an article back in August(?) written by a Canadian about the small venue meetings btw. Bush and Citizens of Canada in an informal setting with two-way discussions-—seems he “blows-them-away” with his command of issues and decisions explained, humbleness etc..

I think the article stated that people would walk away wondering if this was the same guy they were told about from the MSM. If any Freeper has a link to that story, it would be appreciated.

Scanning this post, I cannot tell whether or not it is entirely satirical.

I said George Bush on election day for Obama would look very good in a few months.

Lol.

Obama is a different animal. You sense he is not on the side of America. President Bush was a real man. He was decent and on the side of what is good and right. I felt like there was actually someone in charge, not someone in there experimenting.
