They needed a special law for this???
How is that different than threatening one of us serfs?
As I recall from when I had kids in Jr high (Calif), there is such a law. It may be Federal. I think it applies to any teacher, even off campus, that may feel threatened.
So I had to shut up my kid in the Saturday movie, when he said to his teacher when he saw her, “Mrs. xxx Sucks”.
That could be interpreted as a threat.
