Ready to make calls, WHERE is a Anit-Obamacare phone bank website or do we have to run our own?

Posted on 12/15/2009 1:44:30 PM PST by steve0

Ready to organize ad hoc phone bank. Need Senator numbers that actually work, like their local offices. Who are the top 10 that we need to target?

Sen. Nelson’s (402) 391-3411 Fax: (402) 391-4725

When all the calls have been made, all the letters written, all the protests made, all the posts all over the internet have been posted... AND these bastards still force this on America... what are WE going to do?

Will we write more letters, post more complaints on the internet, gather in front of the White House by the millions—just like last time, send more letters to those that refuse to follow the constitution and are deliberately wrecking our country? Will we just pout and stump our feet?

Will we hold on for “hope and change” that somehow we will be able to win our country back with a ballot cast in a completely failed and corrupt system?

What will we do?

Google their US Senate web sites, get the local office numbers, those aren't as busy (full on purpose) as the DC voice and email boxes are. Then there are those fax numbers to be used. This monster effects ALL Americanss, not just the people in their state. It IMPACTS our retired Military who are senior citizens especially hard and cuts VA benefits for all Military men and women!

When you get a live person asked to be transfered to another senator's office....looks like it is coming from in house not the public.

Susan Collins http://collins.senate.gov/public/continue.cfm?FuseAction=ContactSenatorCollins.EmailIssue&CFID=24523345&CFTOKEN=69997021

Look for the local office numbers and call those as the DC voice mails will be full as well as the emails.

FAX 202-224-2693, and 202-228-5818 another fax for invitations....he, he....remind her that there are CUTS to the VA and new fees for the retired Military on Tri Care for Life nearly $5,000 per year. This IMPACTS the entire country not just her tiny little state! Therefore how she votes matters to all US Citizens.

We need to fine out which one of these critters is up for re-election in 2010 and target them. They are not use to us calling their local numbers or their local faxes.......make good use of them before they 'fix' them so they can only hold so much in the in boxes. Email is a waste of time and effort it does not work at times like these. IF you have a military base in your state HARP on the VA CUTS, the NEW nearly $5,000 fees for Tri Care for Life that the retired Military rely on for secondary insurance and the Medicare cuts. Tell them they are putting our retired Military into poverty by hurting them with obamacare.

Next when talking to a demwit voter lay the blame on dingy harry and botox nancy....they like obama but could care less about those two..tell them they are trying to take obama out as they wanted hillary instead. And they don't care if they hurt old people to get rid of obama so hillary can run in 2010. While this may not be true it can work. GailA, you will especially enjoy this.

I spent my morning making calls. The senate voice mail system is now DOWN due to sytem overload. LOL.

I got through to 6 senate offices:

Webb

Bayh

(Bill) Nelson

Landeiu

Collins

Snowe

I was able to leave voice mails on three others before the system failed. I know two were Dorgon and Blanche Lincoln, but I can’t remember the third.

I think Snowe and Collins will hold strong, and Webb’s office seemed promsing, and told me to read his oped in some newspaper today, but I didn’t catch the name of the paper.

Bill Nelson’s office shined me on and Bayh’s is a slick operation. He’s just a democrat. Mary is onboard with her party I think. She needs a strong candidate to oppose her in her reelection bid.

That's good, I spent the day shopping and 'educating' a few people. Told one young lady with a special needs brother about the tax obamacare would be loading on him, told her about the new Tri Care for Life fees...her dad is retired Military. Then I went to the Navy Exchange and the Commissary and did some gospel spreading...one of the elderly ladies was a Desoto Co Mississippi GOP group leader, she hadn't heard about the VA and the TRL stuff...she told her wheelchair bound hubby about it and I got FR's url to another commissary worker who wants all the info she can get.

Are their local offfices down too?

Book mark this page as amnesty is the next battle!

Try telling known demwits that ms botox and dingy are trying to discredit their ‘god’ because they wanted shillary, that is why obamacare is so bad for Seniors, Veterans and retired Military, they want to ‘fix’ it so their ‘god’ can’t get re-elected and shillary will be a shoo in in 2012.

Last night I received an email from Sen. Webb’s staff, which was reassuring. It appears he is preparing voters for his vote against health care reform bill.

TRI CARE FOR LIFE This from a google search:

http://economicspolitics.blogspot.com/2009/05/tricare-for-life-is-obama-trying-to.html

This option would help reduce the costs of TFL, as well as costs for Medicare, by introducing minimum out-of pocket requirements for beneficiaries. Under this option, TFL would not cover any of the first $525 of an enrollee’s cost-sharing liabilities for calendar year 2011 and would limit coverage to 50 percent of the next $4,725 in Medicare cost sharing that the beneficiary incurred. (Because all further cost sharing would be covered by TFL, enrollees could not pay more than $2,888 in cost sharing in that year.)

Please feel free to pass along my list for the House, or improve on it when possible! I'm going to click-link-a-tize it in my spare time.... :o)

THE
ANY THREE
ACTION ALERT

Send a copy of this article (a paper copy, or a link) to Rep. Bart Stupak, Rep. Joseph Cao, and the Potential Flip Vote of your choice. If the vote on the final (post-reconciliation bill) goes exactly as it did last time in the House, but with just three people flipping from YES to NO, THIS BILL WILL FAIL.

Bart Stupak Contact Information

Again: there were 42 members of the House who voted both in favor of the Stupak amendment to bar taxpayer funding for abortions and in favor of the main bill. Clearly, Speaker Nancy Pelosi couldn't have won passage of health care legislation had the House not adopted pro-life language.

The names below are all of those who voted in favor of both measures, with an asterisk next to those who were considered undecided on the morning of the vote. To be clear, many of these members would have supported the health care bill no matter what. However, given the 220-215 vote margin on the House vote, what it means is that when the pro-life language is stripped from the bill during negotiations with the Senate, if Pelosi loses the support of any three of these people below as a result -- without picking up anybody else's support -- the bill cannot pass the House.

It’s easier to call the local offices as the DC phone lines are lite up like an over loaded Christmas tree, and voice mails limited to a very few.
