To this day I prefer a revolver over a semi-automatic. That’s just me though. Whatever you’re comfortable with. Right now I have a .38 Taurus revolver. Oh, yeah, I will only buy stainless steel, also.

My choices:

To carry/conceal on your person: P3AT semi-automatic

To carry in your car: Glock 26 (The “Baby” Glock), which holds 10 rounds.

For the house: “The Judge” - a Taurus 5-shot revolver that shoots either .410 shotgun shells or 45 cartridges

Like you, my preference is for S&W revolvers. My collection is moderate in size - just took delivery on a NIB Model 66 snubbie made in 1974. Stainless steel is the way to go for carry guns, in my judgment.
