"I thought you and your better half were going to see it this afternoon?"

No-no, you misunderstood what I said, or, I wasn't clear [enough].
Was going to a matinee, and surely not on opening day when even the matinees are likely to be crowded also with gawd knows who.
I'm rarely the first to do --or buy-- anything first, not until I've had time to peruse feedback. Been screwed enough times not being the first has become SOP.

Yea, it'd be a helluva lot easier if I could take a few Churchills & a bottle of fine cognac with. LOL

It looks like the movie is being well received, at least from the technical level. My wife wants to see the newClooney movie, “Up in the Air” which is only 110 min and has been reviewed pretty high.(Not that seeing Clooney in anything is plus for me, but at least he isn't Hugh Grant.) The new Sherlock movie might be worthwhile too but she hasn't pushed to see that one yet.
