I had my cardaic arrest seven years ago & a near death experience to the other side. You are correct if our arrests occur under Obama’s watch just get the shovel ready to dig grave. I am concern about getting my next pacemaker/defib in a few years. Thank God I had a replcement this past March but seven more years will put me on death panel watch as I pace 100%.

I have a pacemaker/defibrillator also. The cardiologist said it will be good for about another two years, give or take. My aunt, who is in her 80s, has a pacemaker only. It's lasted about five years. But I wonder what will happen to both of us when our devices start to fail and we need new ones installed. Being in my 50s, they might put me on a waiting list. My aunt? Well, she'll be too old to qualify. For either of us, if we don't get a new device when we need it, and our present device fails, it's all over.

Must be nice for these guys to play god.
