The Big Tent Strategy: there’s room for everyone in the Big Tent...except for you smelly, little people that put the tent up in the first place. You can stand outside in the rain and we’ll call you when we need some work done on the tent.
I've said on this forum many times that I don't really mind the "big tent" attitude, as long as everyone wants to get under the tent and understand that there are certain principles and core values that hold up the tent.
What I can't tolerate are those who want to seek shelter under the tent and then proceed to saw on the tent poles. That is why I'm pretty much done with the republican party as far as affiliation, and they will not get another dime of my money.
