Even the reported numbers are conservative. Far more than the reported 60% of us want this stopped.
There are some brilliant individuals reading the Free Republic, surely there is some sort of organized effort that can stop or at least slow this enough to make it ineffective.
If all we do is sit around a whine, the current momentum will continue. We are looking at blatant disregard for the will of the people. This is all laid out in black and white in our fundamental law.
Surely there must be some way to organize and defeat this. Hell, even a large portion of liberals are smart enough to oppose this damn mess

The several states must now assert themselves. It's starting. I read of at least ten that have opposing action underway.
If the taxes are collected via witholding, it will be up to employers to object to compliance.
I’m thinking my company might just refuse to pay any of the taxes until all lawsuits are settled. In the meantime, I’ll put what would have been in taxes in an escrow account for each employee.
