HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Now that the healthcare bill has passed both houses, president Obama and his family started their holiday vacation.
The family left Andrews Air Force base this morning and they are expected to arrive at Hickam Air Force base this afternoon.
But aides to the First Lady say Bo, the White House dog, is not accompanying the Obamas on their family vacation in Hawaii.
The aides did not give a reason, but Hawaii has strict rules about dogs and pets entering the state and requires either a 120-day or 5-day-or-less rabies quarantine.
The Obamas will be spending 11 days on vacation in Hawaii.
And if all goes as planned, HawaiiNewsNow will be reporting "live" from Hickam Air Force base when the president and his family arrive this afternoon on air and online at Hawaiinewsnow.com.
me 2!
Poor dog probably high-tails it whenever it hears Michelle rattling the chandeliers as she thudstomps down the hallways.
You know damn well Bo has felt his share of size 12 contusions.
OH, I took it literally, LOL.
I’m mad because Obama just used more fuel in one trip than I’ll use the rest of my life.
“The Emporer’s New Clothes” is light reading.
Great one! Thanks.
Lord, please keep him out there and let it rain on him every day.
Sorry to read he’s going to be in your State. Well try to have a Merry Christmas.
Michelle isn’t going?
No he should skip the Hawaiian vacations and be sensitive to the 10% unemployment.
Lets “HOPE” he goes fishing and wreaks his dingy that would be the “change” we need
Michelle isnt going?,,good one lmao
“Obama on his way to Hawaii without White House dog”
-leaving Mickey the Goon at home to discourage burglars...
He's gotta do one positive thing before the year is out, right?
What a turd...somethin’ may grab him in the surf...
Hell, if Hawaii had any good sense, they would keep Zero out and let BO in. At least the dog is harmless.
That first picture looks like stage makeup on a white man’s body.
I was wondering how many of his family are making the trip and how many on the taxpayer’s dime? The only one I respect is the dog.
Bump!!!
I understand that the no-fly zone around The Obama’s vacation site is going to ground two tour operators who stand to lose $30,000.
Hell, if Hawaii had any good sense, they would keep Zero out and let BO in. At least the dog is harmless.
