WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. -- The Seminole Sheriff's Office said a man shot and killed his daughter's boyfriend on a Seminole County street.
The Sheriff's Office said the shooting happened just after 3 p.m. at the intersection of Dodd Road and Biscayne Drive. Officials said the man was Orlando Regional Medical Center where he died.
Several witnesses at the scene said the two men were arguing before the shooting and that they believe the father shot in self defense.
"He pulled out a gun that he had with him, that he carried most the time, and shot him from the hip in the stomach," Dykey Phillips said.
Police said they have the father in custody, but he has not been charged with any crime.

You know a lot about ignorance.
” The man has already admitted to killing the man, he is guilty of a homicide.”
Only a court can determine guilt.
“Once he pulled the trigger all claims of innocent are gone. It is now up to him to prove it was a justifiable homicide. “
Guilt can only be determined by Jesus and a court. In America we are still presumed innocent until a court proves guilt beyond a shadow of doubt.

Wrong, the prosecutor can charge him and present the evidence to the court, the shooter then can enter a self defense plea, and provide evidence for same, however the plea of self defense is an admission of the act. It is not up to the prosecutor to provide evidence against the charge.

Same here in Tx. On land rattlers.
On land we got the rattlers too but we also got the pythons.
Oy.
My neighbor across the street found a coral snake in his yard last week. We used to have wild hogs but the panther ate them.
LOL We have a few of those and some copperheads.
And the thing is, I don’t doubt it a bit.

Speaking if paradise, I drove down to Anna Marie Island today. It was cold and windy but great place.
I have seen one of those coral snakes. They are pretty but don’t get to close. Have a friend who hunts. She was in a blind when one of those wild boars decided to trot up and check things out. She just stayed real quiet until he/she decided to leave.

The Florida panther is essentially a mountain lion. The true florida panther was cross bred with mountain lions due to near extinction. Its still called a panther though.
