” US Attorney General Eric Holder said “This alleged attack on a U.S. airplane on Christmas Day ——————”
Alleged attack? I’m speechless.

How did this guy get a US VISA? He received one in June 2008, about 18 months ago. But press reports say his possible terror connections were known as long as two years ago. Are CIA and the State Department not talking? Foreigners have no right to an American visa and visa applicants have no right to an explanation as to why their visa application has been denied. This is important, because no airline, foreign or domestic, will board passenger without a visa if that passenger is a citizen one of the great majority of countries—essentially all but Europe, Australia, Canada, and Japan— whose citizens require a US visa. Airlines who board a person without a valid visa face stiff fines in addition to being required to return the passenger forthwith to the point of origin. Someone goofed here. Did an incompetent Consular officer fail to check his terror data base? Did he have access to the database, or are interagency foulups preventing communication? We need to know.

Everything is “alleged” until something happens in a court of law. I know that’s nonsense talk, but, Eric Holder means technically, legally, that these are just allegations now.
I know it’s stupid. The Ft. Hood guy “allegedly” massacred people. The people aren’t allegedly dead, they really are dead. But that’s what you get with politically correct legal thinking.
