The war in Yemen intensifies daily as Saudi forces batter northern Yemen villages along the border. Yesterday more than 700 missiles, artillery bombardments, tank raids and mortar attacks targeted those villages, Houthi fighters website reports.

Libs will love this. The Nobel Peace Prize winner is not only continuing the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, but is expanding it to Yemen. Actually, when you think of it, the noose is tightening on Iran, so Iran may be Obama’s next conquest.
Let me be contrarian here: The recent US attack in Yemen was probably precipitated by good intel regarding the then upcoming attack over Detroit.

Did you watch the debates? Obama ran to the right of McCain on the issue of escalating the Afghan War. He also played footsie with AIPEC repeatedly throughout the campaign. He is a Wilsonian/world policer through and through and his campaign promises reflected that.

Keep in mind that during the French Revolution and the Russian Revolution the Left tried to kill as many Bourgeoisie as possible because power arises from the empowered class. Here, the empowered class are the labor unions, public employees, teachers, professors, the media and the liberal establishment. When the next American Revolution starts, these people must be taken out to keep leftism suppressed. This means Americans have to pick on other Americans and it won't be pretty. Better to win this thing politically...
I think the last forty years were one long attempt to work things out politically that didn’t work. How could it when one party wants socialism (slavery) and the other wants liberty? You end up with a house divided and only brute force can settle the issue.
I agree when the balloon goes up it will be a blood bath. You hit the nail on the head when say a vast section of the American population will be “taken out,” and they will be by means of execution, imprisonment and exile.
The great weakness and strength in the American system of government is that by allowing freedom of speech, press, etc. you allow the formation of a hostile opposition to the Republic and set the stage for civil war, and you allow the defenders of the Republic the opportunity to wage successful civil war in response.
