Hell, I touched myself once after using Atomic Balm on a sore back, way back in high school. I laid in the shower legs up for an hour praying for the burn to go away.

One of my former coworkers decided to wash the Jalapeno jar after our Christmas party since it was almost empty. We used to buy Jalapenos in on gallon metal cans and put the into a plastic one gallon jug and the juice would start to "eat up" the cans after a short time. He went to relieve himself and started screaming. He had a ZIPLOC ice pack in his shorts for several hours.

The main chemical in peppers, capiscan, deadens pain by destroying the nerves. Over a period of time, the nerves eventually die and the person stops feeling pain in the area the capiscain was applied.

People who eat hot peppers eventually are able to consume hotter and hotter peppers because of the damage done to the nerves. I imagine that the sense of taste is also damaged, requiring higher doses of spices to derive taste.

In this case, his reproductive ability may have been reduced by the permanent damage done to the nerves. The tip of the penis is loaded with extremely sensitive nerves and if that area was burned, this guy must have been in a lot of pain.

From reports I Read so far, the terrorist had a ‘handler’ who assisted him in getting on the flight. Maybe he was heavily drugged and not feeling much pain at the time or even very alert to where eh was and what he was doing. His handlers probably assured him that he would feel no pain at all.

I imagine that after all the drugs wore off he will be feeling a whole lot of pain after serious burning where the fire was situated.
