I lived in Sacramento when Rush started there in the 80’s. I had a mail route in Rio Linda and would crack up at his descriptions of that town (all true). If I was home, I would call in to the show. I had the kids tape my calls from the other room....they thought Rush was a god. HA!

I am praying mightily for you Rush! We would all be lost without you and the conservative media you birthed.

I began listening to Rush back in 1988 (I think), when his radio show began airing in the Louisville, KY area.....and my life has never been the same since. God Bless you, Rush!!! We’re all praying for you!!!!

Right there with ya....Moved to Roseville in the early 80's and had a blast listening to Rush. Also love the references to Rio Linda. There's more meaning when you've actually been there! LOL

The first time I heard Rush was the first day he started in NYC. He said that he wouldn’t be having guests on his program. I just looked at the radio and thought to myself -— “Good luck, buddy! How are you going to fill the air time all by yourself?” Well —— was I ever wrong! He didn’t/doesn’t need guests to fill in time or to interview. He was fine just by himself.

And when I saw that he could approach a topic from a different angle than anyone else, I was totally hooked.

I remember him talking about a doctors appointment when he was still heavy. His blood pressure was excellent, and he had good lipid numbers. Hope they are still good.

C’mon Rush! We ditto-heads NEED you. Hang in there and get back to us. We love you!!
