Chicago immigration agency a front for terror plot, federal probers allege
Nestled among the restaurants and sari shops that anchor Devon Avenue in Chicago's South Asian community, First World Immigration Services Inc. has operated as a welcoming walk-in center for recently arrived immigrants, like other storefront operations helping with visas, citizenship applications and other matters, its proprietors say.
But, as part of a widening probe into an international terror plot rooted in the city, U.S. authorities are sharpening their sights on the West Rogers Park agency in search of possible acts of Immigration fraud, according to sources familiar with the probe.
Federal prosecutors charge that the Immigration center served as a front in a Chicago-based terror plot to bomb a Danish newspaper that in 2005 outraged Muslims worldwide when it published unflattering caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad.
First World's owner, Tahawwur Hussain Rana, also knew in advance of plans for the 2008 terror attacks in Mumbai, India, which killed 172 people, federal prosecutors allege.
Randall Samborn, spokesman for the U.S. attorney's office in Chicago, said last week that federal authorities are working to determine the Immigration status of people who entered the U.S. with the agency's help. The alleged plot is one of several cases raising new concerns about U.S.-based terror plots.

Yes, I,ve been quite aware of the up and coming World Order for along while...even Bush Sr. referenced in his speaches. As much as I’d like this march to slow down, I’m afraid there’s not enough people willing to do what it will take to do so at the current times.
I’m not prepared to say the US will yield completely to world governance...I will say in certain areas she’ll have no choice in order to survive.
Thinking I expressed myself a few posts back on this matter also..Hard not to have moments of discouragement...and if I didn’t know the Lord I’d be most unhappy.
But however much.. our influences on the world stage will certainly be diminished to little than a secondary power.. or far less on the world stage. Or we’ll become isolated entirely...which I’d rather do than yield to a world system.
With the crap governing at the top now..it’s a slam dunk as they pick up momentum to take us that direction....but I never underestimate our countries people...push them enough and they will turn....usually now not until after the damage has been done.

(CNN) — Gen. David Petraeus, head of the U.S. Central Command, met with Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Saturday in Yemen, according to a senior U.S. government source.
During the meeting with Petraeus, Saleh expressed his appreciation for the United States’ help in combating extremists, the source said.
Saleh also offered more support for U.S. counterterrorism strikes and said he would continue providing assistance for the U.S. investigation into the attempted bombing of a Northwest Airlines flight on December 25.

I agree. Voting arrogant scum out of office will be the first priority. Those who believe they can pass legislation in the middle of the night that destroys the US economy, our basic freedoms and respect for the US Constitution are destined for ultimate failure. What they do will require being undone.
The young who get stuck paying for four years of healthcare with nothing in return will vote again in 2012. That'll be an eye-opener for cocky liberal politicians or RINOs with no regard for their constituents or The Constitution. Amnesty and Cap and Trade, if they sneakily pass them, will push people over the edge against them - and people are preparing for the worst if they do.

Speaking of early springs, I’m hoping for one also. Our first heavy snow was early, in Oct. and remanants of it are still here. With this heavy snow pack, all our water tables and wells will be sufficiently re-charged. Can’t complain about that. Last summer, we had to drop our water well/pump about 20 feet deeper. After seven years of drought, it was getting worrisome.

I had wondered if the Dad was on the up and up, given taqiyya and all.
I lived in area as a youngster in the mid 60's. It was a lovely neighborhood, primarily Eastern European.
Today, sadly, it looks like a 3rd world slum.
