I think he is mad because we are being lied to.
Amsterdam security, please define to the American public "Normal passport boarding procedures".
You see the FBI would have the American public believe that what was important was whether the terrorist in fact had a passport.
This guy is all over the net trying to grab his 10 minutes in the spotlight. I would just assume he would shut up and go back to being an attorney, or better still, get a real job. I don’t see any benefit to the FBI providing full public disclosure to any information re terrorists or their activities.

The bomber was traveling on an Italian passport.
His story pretty much explains it all. Besides the Nigerian terrorist that was arrested, there was a bag inspection of the remaining passengers and another man (Indian?) dressed in orange was taken into custody. This has been hushed up. Why? Maybe they screwed up because there may have been a bomb in the Indian guy in orange’s bag that the dogs alerted on. The problem is they left almost 300 passengers in the airplane for 20 minutes to 1 hour with a potential bomb explosion coming. Are they trying to cover up their incompetence now? Mr. Haskell has no agenda to drive, that I can think of.
I thinks it’s because he believes the guy had help at the airport but we’re not being told about it. I read another story from someone on the plane who said there was a guy on board who was videotaping the entire incident from start to finish but no one is talking about that either. I may not be up to date on the latest, though.
But don’t we already know airport security is a farce? So are we trying to further drive home this well known fact? I’m ok with that, I’m just trying to figure out if that is the whole reason for this article.
Being denied information by our government about details of the investigation is common practice. So surely he’s not harping on this. His right to know isn’t more important than figuring this out and sending a cruise missle to another Yemeni home full of terrorists.

The reports on the passport issue are all over the map. I'm still waiting for some really definitive report. With Obama we may wait forever.
If that were true, we would not have allowed Mr. Nigerian enemy combatant to lawyer up. This looks like a case where the other individual could have possibly blown the plane up on the tarmac, and the FBI is playing CYA. I don’t know about you, but I am sick and tired of being lied to by govt.
...What also didn’t make the news is that we were held on the plane for 20 minutes AFTER IT LANDED!. A bomb could have gone off then...
This doesn't jive with another passenger's account as reported on the WTMG Radio's website:
"...They got us off faster than anything you've ever seen, and then they shuffled us off to a room where we spent quite a few hours..."
I don’t disagree with you about us not needing to know everything. I got the impression he was saying we’re being told this guy acted alone on the plane and he, and possibly others, are saying that was not the case. It could have been a dry run to see how the passengers and crew react with the distraction of one guy attempting something, allowing the others to do the real damage. Who knows?
I think he is credible. Why won’t the FBI say why the terrorist was allowed on the plane without having to go through regular passport scrutiny?

But he was waved into a back room where he did not have to go through the normal passport process according to Haskell.
The “dry run” theory with the videotape is more interesting. I wasn’t thinking that angle.
Who was the “sharply dressed” man? Was he a Yeman or Nigerian diplomat? Was he in on the bombing? How many times have they had some sort of special boarding arrangements in the past. Who was the other man? How did he get an Italian passport? Who took the eunich bombers name off the passenger list? Napolitan hired a few Muslims as advisors - one can only wonder. I was just listening to ABC radio news and they’re two days behind in the news. They’re only now reporting that the dad reported his son being involved with jihadi, after they got text messages from him, stating he was breaking all ties with his family. One mustn’t forget the father was a multi-billionaire with all the power that gives him which is a lot. It all appears to be smoke and mirrors and the lawyer witness wants clarification. Good for him. He was a passenger on the plane and has every right to follow up on the reporting.
Maybe because they are not accountable to him.

This guy thinks he is a hot shot. But his complaints about passengers from other airliners being mixed in is off target. Others would be screened due to fears of a Bojinka, multiple plane attack.
