Brokaw: Here’s A Great Idea, Let’s Be More Like Oregon’s Medical System

This is REALLY SCARY STUFF Mr.Brokaw. This ranks right up there with Brokaw begging the President to raise gas prices. Speaking on Meet the Press, the debate turned to why Americans are so against Obamacare. Doris Kearns Goodwin thinks most Americans haven’t read it and thus are afraid of it, but once it’s passed, they will love it. Of course none of that is true.

But Tom Brokaw’s analysis is even scarier. He blames Medicare cuts in the bill as one reason people are fearful, and he’s right. But then he adds that rather than cut medicare, we just to need to re-prioritize spending … like in Oregon. I kid you not, he said Oregon.

Brokaw long ago chewed off the end of the dumb stick.

His word is worth about as much as Obama’s.

Mr. Brokaw, you have gray hair and bags under your eyes. There’s a panel that would like to have a few words with you.

On the bright side, if they “reform” health care enough, Mr. Brokaw might finally be able to get some (free) help with his speech impediment.

This woman gets my goat. She is a historian, and a discredited one at that, caught plagiarizing. So what historical precedent does she base this on? What bill were the American people too stupid to understand and which the majority opposed but then fell in love with after the fact? Hmm? Probably she'll say "Medicare!". Do people really love that? Did the majority oppose it? If the answer to either is NO then that argument is dismissed. So what else? Social Security? No way, people in the depression wanted it. You get my point. She's a hack.

Perhaps Tom Brokaw should move to Oregon and enjoy some of that “Great” health care he wants to force down the rest of America’s throat. The reason why these libs want everyone else to suffer is because they don’t have to. Once they have to experience having to wait a year to get a much needed procedure or test done, then they will think twice

Today I just heard there is a lottery to get on the Oregon system and if you or ANY of your relatives make too much $$$, no one in your family can get on it.

I of course don’t use it because my employeer and I have been paying for it for the last 20 years.

Do not forget that this is the man that stated in an interview about the media that he longed for the day when there were only the big 3 news networks, why?...because they would only broadcast what they wanted the citizenry to hear... this was pure unadulterated collaboration of Brokaw, Jennings & Rather to move the USA where they thought it should go. I have NO respect for this man or his ilk!

Maybe Mr. Brokaw would like to be the first volunteer in the euthanasia program. If he were, it would improve the overall IQ of persons residing in the US by at least 10 pts.

Most members of Congress haven't read it and they love it, and once it's passed, they will still love it.

Until the 2010 congressional election, at least.

You’ve got that right. Brokaw has been on my “Anarchy List” for a long time. It is not that he is a moron, but a calculating moron, and he is most dangerous in his “respected” position. People actually believe him. Cronkite was his role model.
