In June 2001, an al-Qaeda recruitment video featuring bin Laden boasted about the attack and encouraged similar attacks.
The USS Cole was bombed in 2000, the perpetrators were Yemenis. I do not think groups like this enact bylaws and a charter to announce themselves to the world. It is completely obvious Yemen has been a hotbed of Al Qaeda since before Bush even took office.
Many reports are that Al Qaeda is moving from Pakistan and Afghanistan precisely because of our successes there. OBL went from Sudan to Afghansitan for the same reason the Jihadis are going to Yemen. Weak central gov’t, ability to blend in with the locals (even more so than in Afghan and Pak), and most of all a closer proximity to the Arab world of the Middle east where they are mostly from.
I have faith that regular American folks, who got caught up in the narcissistic mission of helping racist America elect a black man, are waking up to the fecklessness and weakness of the particular “black” man they installed. What else is there but faith and hope?
He blamed Bush 41 for everything in the world during the campaign, but did he keep it up after he was elected?
I mean, Clinton was the sleaziest creep to ever occupy the Oval Office (until now), but even HE had more class and maturity than this child.
People want this lightweight to grow up.
Obama would like to grow up, but his Marxist idealogy does not allow him to do so.

The Kenyan and Tanzanian U.S. embassy bombings were clearly identified as al-Qaida work in 1998.

Actually, he blamed the Federal Government.
Rather than resolve and action, Obama applies blame and schedules the filing of future reports, “NOW!”.
Obama exists in his own mind outside of that, above it all.
Such management style is extremely demoralizing, and solidifies a culture of blind process following. No one feels they belong, or can contribute, they can only fail and be blamed. Obama will take any credit to himself.
Maybe he thinks the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor because we bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
I can’t stand Obama. The official AQAP was formed about 4 years ago by the merger of the Saudi and Yemeni branches under this name. The two Saudi leaders were former Gitmo detainees who had been “rehabilitated” in the wildly successful Saudi rehabilitation program! It is basically considered a second-generation Al Qaeda. I can only guess that this is what Obama was talking about, but he was apparently more inarticulate than usual.
The other half, I only have faint hope for.

He’s ignorant enough to think exactly that.
Obama is evil, but I think perhaps his natural stupidity will prevent him from achieving his goals. On the other hand, sometimes natural stupidity can be the thing that gives a dictator just that little edge.

Seriously? I would LOVE to hear how he explains away that whole USS Cole bombing thing. Hell, it’d be a miracle if he even knows it happened.
One will get thru our defenses....matter of fact one DID....but for the grace of god and a bad det cord...there are 200+ souls still alive today.
I have never been this afraid as I am now.....its white knuckle time.
