I'm afraid too. We have NO one protecting us in this administration. We have only children who think that the American people are bad and deserve to be killed by terrorists.
We have had, as you said, a successful terrorist attack on American soil that only didn't kill people because it didn't explode. (And we, of course, had 14 people killed by a terrorist at Ft. Hood as well).
We are in such deep trouble, Dog. And al Qaeda is champing at the bit until one of their attempts succeeds and kills hundreds or thousands.
It's only a matter of time, and we're on our own, defenseless at the hands of our own government.

Ok - but still- how do we know Al Q on the Arabian Penninsula was formed because of Gitmo? Seriously. If a terrorist tells us that- we know it’s a lie. If we’re guessing about it- then we’re in really bad shape.
First- we know Yemen has ALWAYS been a big problem. In fact- Way back when I thought maybe we should have hit there before Iraq. Second- perhaps it’s a matter of a friendly hometown government- Yemen is a lot kinder to Al Q than Iraq- and Afghanistan is unreliable for them.

The explosives for the bombing were bought in Yemen. And the attackers and their accomplices were predominantly Yemenis. Indeed, after the attack, terrorists in Qaeda camps in Afghanistan would march and chant, “We, the Yemenis, destroyed the Cole.”
As the F.B.I. case agent for the Cole investigation from 2000 to 2005, I spent years with colleagues in Yemen hunting down those responsible, and we unraveled an entire Qaeda network in the country.

Listened to Beck, his guest , a lawyer from Michigan was on the flight. 20,000 ft in the air seats and aircraft wall where on fire, anyone read or hear this on state run media? Everyone is downplaying this as a crazy kid who had dreams of becoming a jihadists and couldnt do it right. He is represented by an American lawyer, in an American court under American laws. This is the attempted murder of 350 American citizens. Where’s the outrage? Where’s the resignations, where’s the investigation, where’s the older man with him at check in, who allowed this guy to board the plane?
