...it has the ring of complete BS to me.

I'm glad you're not part of national security.

I think we are approaching the days where suicide bombers will be walking into our restaurants, theaters, hotel lobbies, etc., just like they do in other countries. That is the best way to instill fear in everybody...not just those getting on an airplane.

OK, to further explain my BS comment:

1) Why would Iran be so intensely after a nuke + a long range delivery vehicle? I would expect Iran to nuke us by any means possible. Nuking Israel is, in the Muslim view, only second to the nuking the Great Satan. I think his ‘advice’ about not being worried about a nuke is baloney. We should be very concerned about that and chem/bio.

2) Airport scanners look for more than metal. Another silliness comment.

3) We focus on security well before the airport. Its our PC govt that makes sure its unused and ineffective. He gets it wrong again.

Will another attack occur...of course. This is Capt Obvious territory. His advice about where and when are greatly in question.

I’d love to know exactly what you all are going to do to be prepared. I think there’s very little that can be done in the major scheme of things. Sure, you can take in supplies. That certainly doesn’t address the major questions of what happens when you run dry and how you deal w/ a govt thats looking for any excuse to enslave you. There are so many terrible contingencies that can’t be accounted for. The chest beaters here have NO clue.
