I liked Bob a lot better when he said what he thought. After his call for Clinton's impeachment, the Republicans used him and threw him under the bus. I can understand how he might feel, but making excuses for President Obama’s ineptitude is the wrong way to get attention.

I was surprised and dismayed to find out that Bob Barr wrote this piece, myself.

His first mistake was in mentioning Obama’s delay in responding to the Christmas bomber. That argument holds no water and ruined his credibility.

Whatever he wrote afterwards was inconsequential, as far as I’m concerned.

I quit reading after he called the guy “not-so-bright”. By all accounts this guy is very bright and the ideal recruit for terrorists. Just because his crotch didn’t explode doesn’t mean he’s stupid - the last thing we need to do is underestimate these people.
