Odd phraseology since defending their right to kill you to YOUR death is eminently possible.

I am defending their right to believe, not their right to kill. I am sorry if you can't see the difference.

Did you see that Coptic Christians were just murdered in their CHURCH in Egypt?

That is the kind of thing we will see here if Mosques are outlawed. Do you support the killing of Muslims on the streets of Detroit? Well if you endorse a systematic discrimination against American Muslims then you will likely see the kind of bloodshed against Muslims by people claiming to be Good Americans that you see in Egypt being acted out by "Good Muslims" against Christians and which was acted out by "Good Germans" against the Jews.

If this movement has at its core the principle that America will not allow the building of Mosques, then I will not be a part of that movement. Religious liberty requires a wide latitude of tolerance by all members of a society. We can outlaw religious practices that violate our morals and as such we can outlaw animal sacrifices and slavery and wife beating, but we go over the line when we outlaw the building of religious buildings or outlaw the traditional teachings of any religion.

For instance Muslims are free to believe that a man can have 4 wives, but they are not free to practice that belief (unless those 4 wives are all transgendered or the same sex as the Husband). They are free to believe that infidels and should be treated as slaves, but they are not free to own infidels as slaves.
