Don’t know much about him but from what I hear, he sounds like an across the board straight up conservative.

Has been Governor since 2000, the most popular Governor in the country.
ND has the lowest unemployment rate in the country and the state is booming with oil revenues
Hoeven is presidential material, IMO....he's too good for the Senate.
