What made you pick WV?
Small town
No other New Yorkers
Off the coast (more bang for my buck)
Low RE and personal property taxes
Topography
Four seasons
Plenty of fishing
Hard day’s drive from the City (to avoid weekend drop-ins but so I could get back if I had to for family and friends)
Plenty of room (It’s amazing how fast you become used to space. I lived in a 3 rm. apt. for 30 years and now my 3 acres are feeling kinda cramped LOL)
Was looking at KY first, but house prices were kinda high for me. I didn’t want a mortgage.
I used to tell the guys at work that I would put a roll of razor wire on my shoulder and head southwest. When someone asked, “What’s that?” that’s where I’d stay.
