I am a little tired of folks bragging about Obama launching more Predator attacks in Pakistan than Bush did. That has more to do with a change in Pakistani leadership and attitudes than it does with who our President is.

is, we regret waterboarding self-confessed mass murderers, but not executing suspected terrorists by remote control in Waziristan — along with anyone unfortunate enough to be sitting in the suspected terrorist’s living room.

Whatever the reason, remember how the press and Muslims used to howl about all these innocent "wedding party guests," "children on the mosque picnic," etc. supposedly wiped out by drone attacks? It's different when Bambi does it, I guess, because now we have ... silence.

Aside from that, I think the Muslims know that in the long run, this is not a tactic that will be successful on its own, and they're just regarding the Predator strikes as the cost of doing business.
