Believe it or not, Dodge has made some really fast muscle cars over the years.

The new University of Chicago Police Dept. cars look like they're Dodge Chargers.

In my 30+ years of law enforcement the worst patrol car I ever had was the new Chevrolet Impala. Front wheel drive and way too small. If I arrested anyone with any size at all, I had to lay them down in the back seat like a log. I hated everything about that vehicle.

There are a lot of older LEO's out here who swear by their pre-'72 Mopars, but time tends to give a rosy tint to a lot of things..

I had a '70 Plymouth Fury --nice engine, but those cars hanlded like $%^&. Ditto, on the rose coloring...

Reminds me of when we were in Boston a couple of months ago. We approached a group of taxi’s and went to get in the first one in line. The driver was a young immigrant. He turned the key to the car and got that terrible starter grind noise...he kept doing it and finally said, “you take different taxi, mine not work.” I didn’t tell him that his car wouldn’t “start” because it was already running; I didn’t want to ride in a cab with a guy who couldn’t even tell his car was running!
