Republican activist Debra Medina will get another shot at her party's titans in the second debate for governor this month.

Citing a new statewide poll that boosted Medina's standing, the debate's organizers said Monday that she will be taking part in the faceoff against Gov. Rick Perry and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison on Jan. 29 at WFAA-TV (Channel 8) in Dallas.

The Medina campaign said it welcomed the invitation, and spokesmen for Perry and Hutchison said they looked forward to the event -- coming just two weeks after their first debate in Denton.

Great news. I just read it myself.

Will be great to have a Republican on the stage of a Republican Primary.

Would suck watching to liberals in Perry and Hutchison act like republicans.

It looks like the old triangulation game that the liberals love to use against Republicans. If she takes enough votes from Governor Perry then Texas might have Hutchison as the next governor. She will NEVER stand against the federal government’s power grab.

Not gonna happen because of a looming run-off in April if no one gets a majority. Perry is almost surely going to be in the runoff, but now many pundits in Texas are speculating that it will indeed go to a runoff because of the increased support for Medina. Many people are unaware that a candidate needs 50% in the primary to avoid a run-off.

Keep voting for the lesser of two evils in order to........insure that you’ll keep having to vote for the lesser of two evils.

this isn’t the lesser of two evils...this is evil and a man who disagrees with some of us on a few issues.
