On Election Day, a Citizen Journalist reminds Martha Coakley: ‘Uncle Hurt Me’
Big Journalism ^ | Jan 19th 2010 | Gary Hewson

Today is election day in Massachusetts, for what could be the most important and ironic political race of the last 100 years: A country swerving out of control; helmed by a supermajority Democratic machine that might just be slammed back on the rails by a one-party Democratic state, that in any other time but this one, is of the bluest kind...

Snip: What Martha Coakley could never have guessed, was that in 2010, a citizen reporter would talk to Frank Frisoli and Frank would tell him an intimate detail of the case that has never been reported until now: and here is that most important detail: That Coakley’s office refused to consider the testimony of a 2-year old and withheld that information from the grand jury. Coakley’s office called Larry Frisoli and told him it was not solid or credible to rely on such a young girl’s words; even the clear and uncoached words “Uncle hurt me”...

Caution, following up on this story is not for the squeamish.

I have no idea what makes people like Coakley tick, but sanity can probably be ruled out immediately.

“I have no idea what makes people like Coakley tick, but sanity can probably be ruled out immediately.”

Are we talking the evil or the liberalism? Oh...I guess they are the same, though, come to think about it...

Liberalism = mental illness

Not your garden variety depression, anxiety, or even obsessive-compulsive behaviors, but serious mental illness like anti-social behaviors and the like.

Well, let’s face it, in less than 90 years, they have slaughtered more than 100 million people...that’s some serious anti-socialism...

Just when you think these sick monster RATS can’t get any lower, another one steps onto the stage. Where are they digging these disgusting creatures up from. More importantly, why is the GOP sitting back twiddling its thumbs and allowing it?

Coakley is a lawyer.

What more do you need to know?

That is the $64,000.00 question. The only thing I can think of is that pols are hugely self-interested, whether they be Democrats or Republicans, and Obama's election showed them where to find popularity - in socialism. Thus, the mindset is to stand down.

Sad, very sad. We will see if Republicans are taking notes. If they are, we'll see some teeth and claws pretty soon. If not, then maybe the Democrats have enough dirt on each one to sink their collective boats.

Has this story been making the rounds, esp in Mass? Have noticed a few freepers using terms that now make sense, but I’ve somehow missed it.

Why are they (the GOP) “allowing it”?

Because, according to those 18 pages you reference in your tagline, with a minority in the House and in the Senate and a Democrat in the White House; THEY HAVE NO ELECTORAL POWER AT THE FEDERAL LEVEL.

That is one of the reasons the rabid left has turned on 0bama, if the Republicans were even slightly credible as an opposition they would be blamed for “standing in the way” of 0bama’s brilliant leadership.

But they can do nothing other than talk.........

And Palin seems to have a larger effect ‘talking’ from Facebook.

Not that they are not, mostly, a bunch of spineless and gutless cowards; but there is simply NOTHING they can do until they get vote #41 in the Senate.

Gutless Old Party.

I'm not convinced it simple gutlessness. There must be something more at work here. Perhaps Conservatives are, well...just too conservative and don't like to make waves. Or, my favorite theory is that after someone's been in Washington for any significant length of time, they become seduced by the dark side. Prestige, power, money are all potent aphrodisiacs.

The story has been buried. It took the author of the article some time to dig up the facts.

It’s clear that Coakley pursued prosecutions not on the strength of evidence, but in terms of how it could help her political career.

So how is that different from any other prosecutor out there? Let’s face it American justice is deeply flawed with Coakley being just another example of what’s wrong with the system.

That woman is evil. I cried the first time I read the details of that case, now I just get really angry. Coakley is now the poster child for the democratic party and what they represent to me. They need to be stopped and their evil exposed to the air for all the country to see.

can’t prove the following but my strong hunch is that lots of Rs succumb to implicit and/or explicit forms of MSM blackmail, i.e., every R. knows that if you say or do certain things to expose Demagogue corruption and depravity you will get a personal thrashing in the MSM for the rest of your life......

some have the courage and fortitude to face such a prospect, but most don’t

.... just think of the continual smears and vicious hostility directed at Sarah Palin, Dick Cheney, not to mention Rush Limbaugh, etc..... and then think of how much less well positioned the typical Senator or Representative would be to fight back against such a MSM onslaught or even to get his/her message out at all.

.... then of course assuming one has any personal failings or misdeeds at all, even an unpaid parking ticket, count on the Mediascum to abuse any slightly conservative figure who is not pretty docile.....

I’m not justifying cowering before the MSM, simply noting that the threat of public humiliation, abuse, and degradation must be daunting to all but the very toughest public figures who would dare to really challenge the Demagogues and their Mediascum allies.
