More than a handful of Democrats were luke-warm in their commitment to Mengelecare in the first place (some “committed” to it only after having their kneecaps shot) and they want OUT of this nightmare in time to recover for November. Brown’s victory gives them just the excuse they need to bail. Word is spreading fast, and they’re drawing straws even now to see who gets to hand Pelosi the memo.
