Alan Keyes

I can't help but look at Scott Brown's win in Massachusetts in the context of the larger strategy clearly being implemented by the RINO (Republican-In-Name-Only) clique that currently controls the GOP. Sean Hannity is the clique's bellwether media tool. It was no coincidence that he featured Mitt Romney on his program last night to revel in the Scott Brown victory. Scott Brown in Massachusetts is the advance guard for Mitt Romney in the White House (or vice-versa). He becomes the poster child for the RINO clique's archetypal GOP candidate who:

As long as the RINO clique can gull the conservative base of the GOP into identifying with and celebrating the success of such candidates, principled conservatives will never (or very rarely) win elections; conservative policies will never be implemented; and the tragic decline of America's liberty will continue to its inevitably ruinous conclusion.

I'm a full-on Conservative, who never touches the "Conservatism Always Wins Kool-Aid"

Obama: 69.97%

Keyes: 27.05%

I believe that Brown is going to be a game changer. This ain't Linc Chaffee or Olympia Snowe. I think he will influence the electorate of Massachusetts to move and vote to the right.

Jean Francois Kerry, you are next, mon ami!!!

Vote Schilling!! We are coming for you, Lerch!!

The worst, most suicidal move for Republicans to make is to now insist on all Republican candidates, even in Blue States, to be absolutely pure religious right conservatives — because they will lose.

Go for the most conservative which can win, but realize that in some States and Congressional Districts, the most conservative who can win may be a RINO — which is better than a socialist Democrat like Coakley.

I agree. The country may be slightly right of center, but it is slightly.

And as always, three cheers for Keyes’ resounding electoral wins.

Oh...wait...

Brown ran with little help from the GOP. He got lots of local and nationwide support at a grassroots level. He even got people from Montreal to pitch in and help. I didn't see RINO's at the rallies. Brown got off his ass and spent time in the streets meeting voters. He got his hands dirty shaking hands with the ordinary rabble.

“Obama is a radical communist and I think it is becoming clear. He is going to destroy this country and we are either going to stop him or the United States of America is going to cease to exist.

- Alan Keyes

Ya what a nut case. Everyone knows that the GOP has our best interests at heart.

So you and Mary Anne Kreitzer would've allowed Stalin to fall to Hitler because Stalin would eventually cause so much misery?

12 million babies were aborted during the 8 years under Ronald Reagan. Should we have let Carter stay on? Mondale? Are you freaking nuts?

Politics is not religion. Politics is the art of the possible. You can't have it all your way all the time. You can only resist the evil as best you can with the allies you can muster.

Suicide is a sin. Political suicide is insanity.

I'm with saftler and vandk...Keyes' disaster run in illinois is partly responsible for "President Obama."

You realise that Eternal Vigilance is probably pulling all our names and putting us on a list of dirty, rotten, stinking RINOs who are part of Mitt Romney's secret master plan to implement the RINO agenda, right?

A real conservative like...Alan Keyes? Please.

The magnitude of this win in Mass. is enormous, and only a Scott Brown could have pulled it off. We may have stopped this horrible health care bill and no telling what future Obama policies.
We will cut off our nose to spite our face, sorry Alan, I am not listening.

I'm wondering when being pro-life, and subsequently having some doubts about pro-abortion Scott Brown, became a KOS-esque position in the conservative movement? I must have missed that memo.

Brown ran with little help from the GOP.

Though to be honest, Ace over at Ace of Spaces HQ was at Brown HQ last night, and says that a campaign staffer told him that the RNC kicked in a cool half-a-mil.

ALMOST makes up for their dumping a raftload of money onto Scozzafava's campaign. But not quite.

“So far as we can tell, Scott Brown fits none of those qualifications”

In his own words: Scott Brown on

Abortion
“While this decision should ultimately be made by the woman in consultation with her doctor, I believe we need to reduce the number of abortions in America. I believe government has the responsibility to regulate in this area and I support parental consent and notification requirements and I oppose partial birth abortion. I also believe there are people of good will on both sides of the issue and we ought to work together to support and promote adoption as an alternative to abortion.”

and

Marriage
“I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. States should be free to make their own laws in this area, so long as they reflect the people’s will as expressed through them directly, or as expressed through their elected representatives.”

In other words, he thinks abortion should be legal and available, and that states should be free to implement “marriage” between sodomites, with all that implies.

As this shows, Scott Brown fits Keyes’ description to a T.

Every time someone posts something by Alan Keyes, a gang of critics jumps in to call him “a flake” and worse.

I am truly puzzled at this, and wonder what motivates it. When I check, I discover that the criticisms of Keyes are without merit, as here. Why this eagerness to damage Keyes’ reputation?

Keyes might have an angleI hadn’t thought of, but I tell you that’s not why Brown won. It’s to stop healthcare from sailing through the senate. For me that’s the primary mission.

ANd I’ll be the first to say if Brown forgets conservatives and independents who want a conservative governing, that we’ll be the first to oust his ass out of that seat we put him in. If he’s really as dumb as the libs and forgets who he works for and who’s in charge, which I don’t forsee at this point, we’ll toss him out with the other RINOs.

People are not going to be putting up with dictators and kings who don’t give two sh1ts about what is good for the country and what the vast majority of people are telling them to do.

Look at the senator-elect’s campaign website. He thought the Massachusetts version of mandatory health coverage was fine. He believes that abortion is a woman’s “choice.” His only stated opposition to same-sex “marriage” was that it should be passed by the Legislature or a state referendum.I think Dr. Keyes nailed it.

You are so right. Reid would have sworn this woman in today had she won and they would be voting next week, right before the state of the union speech.

Idealism is fine, but pragmatism keeps crappy bills from becoming law.

2004: Barak Obama 70%, Alan Keyes 29%
2010: Scott Brown 52%, Martha Coakley 47%

Tell me again why anyone would listen to Alan Keyes as to how to win a statewide election.

Your objection is not even remotely rational.

You would have it that our only choices are between demonrats and RINOs. I reject that assumption.
