It just means one can hear tone pitches better than most folks.

No, it means I can say to you, "Sing me a G#." Or, "Sing me an E natural." And you can do it right on the beans without hesitation or any kind of hint.

Perfect pitch and a highly trained sense of relative pitch are two entirely different things. Perfect pitch is EXTREMELY rare.

Yes it is rare. One is born with it.

“Knowing” what a G, B, F sharp, or B flat has nothing to do with it.

One can hear a tune and then sing it on key. When I talk about “key” I mean “pitch” and not musical keys after their names (not pitch). I would hope you would know that.

There was a singer with perfect pitch, that used to do voiceovers for all the great stars that couldn't sing a note. No one ever heard of her because Perfect Pitch does not a singer make, they have to have a unique sound. Willie Nelson, Frank Sinatra..........
