" The Kamikazes failed in 1944-45 and these liberal kamikazes will fail as well. "
Actually, after losing almost all of their Navy, the Japaneses resorted to desperate attacks of the Kamikazes rather late in the war right before we totally defeated them on Aug 6 1945 ......

Democrats in Washington failed to pursue a sufficiently liberal agenda. We are fools to let the Democrats believe otherwise.

A liberal isn't necessarily a coward. Because you said liberals by their very nature are cowards does not make it a fact. You don't get to make up the dictionary. Liberals may be cowards in some cases but that doesn't make all liberals cowards so your description doesn't hold up. I know a liberal who saw combat in Vietnam and was wounded. He is NOT a coward just misguided in his political philosophy. John McCain is considered a liberal to many. Is he a coward? How about Bob Kerrey of Nebraska. He's a liberal. He won the Congressional Metal of Honor. Is he a coward as well. Think about it.
Japan had already lost the war in the Pacific by 1944 (actually late 1942) when the kamikazes first appeared in October of that year. They caused enormous destruction and loss of life but their willingness to sacrifice their lives did not affect the outcome of the war. The liberals are going to sacrifice their careers to push a point in which they cannot hope to suceed. That's the point of the article and why the analogy to kamikazes hold up.

Who is the American LT General in the Photo?
I know it was MacArthur who presided over the surrender ceremony but that's not him in the photo. Is that his chief of staff?
Anyone know?

There are, however, those evil, calculating bitches and bastards who are not governed by emotion, but exist on the left to further their own personal ambitions and agendas.
This latter, much smaller group is not necessarily cowardly - just evil.

To defeat a socialist/communist, you must understand how they think and why they go Kamikaze. Please read on. Fabien Socialists believe in incremental, non-violent change to bring in their new order. For the most part, Obama with his New Party roots falls into this category, aiming to stoke the flames of discontent upon millions of their devout followers. The Revolutionary Communist Party believes in using violence as the means to come to the same conclusion. Van Jones, groups like the Black Panthers, and even violent right-wing groups feed into and are meant to be tools of this philosophy. The Fabien Socialists and their offshoots have been conducting their incremental change in American society trough the courts, pop culture and other arenas for nearly a century. On the other hand, the Revolutionary Communist Party has been patiently waiting to execute their plans when the opportunity avails itself. They thought the race riots in the 1960s and 1992 (in LA) would have pushed America to the edge and were ready to pounce if the situation would have continued, but relative economic stability contained those flare ups. If you read their blogs, forums and newsletters, you'll see that the violent revolutionaries of the Revolutionary Communist Party and other offshoots think that with the current faltering US economy, and the dependency of a large class of people on that economy, the time is now. They'll attempt to use social unrest from the Left (and the reactionary response from the Right) to cause change in our form of government. That's what Obama's sudden "populist" push against the banks is all about to channel disaffected people and their anger against the Capitalist system, to force the banks under tight government control, despite the fact many have repaid their TARP loans. When Obama announces he's suddenly for a "Discretionary-Spending Freeze," he means to bring about social change by squeezing tens of millions of people dependent upon the government to rise up against Capitalism. It'll look like he's "seen the light," but he's simply reversing the train to get to the same destination Social Change. Mark my words THIS is where Obama is going now that he sees Congress no longer has his back with votes on ObamaCare. When Pelosi and others seem to be acting Kamikaze, understand it's because the TRUE BELIEVERS are pushing their political leaders to the brink. They will attempt desperate, if not irrational, means to accomplish their goals. They want collapse and anarchy so Obama and others in government can hit the “reset button” on our Constitution by introducing laws and/or Executive Orders meant to place Capitalist entities under government control. They are TRUE BELIEVERS of their fanaticism, and they control the White House and critical parts of Congress. Be very wary in this situation, as these radicals intend to incite violence from both the Left and the Right to get to that Tipping Point in their process. OUR predecessors in this on-going fight called it The Red Scare in the 1920s and 1950s for a reason. I leave you with a quote to ponder:
I began revolution with 82 men. If I had to do it again, I'd do it with 10 or 15 and absolute faith. It does not matter how small you are if you have faith and plan of action. ~ Fidel Castro

Military/History (?) Channel has a show about these pilots including a survivor of a collision. The goal was to clip the tail of a bomber then bail out if the fighter was too damaged to fly.

I posted my general opinion on a subject, and you hopped on it and drove it into specificity hell. I can go to history.com if I need lessons, but this board is for general discussion and opinions.

This is something most people don’t even know about. I was reading the minutes of the Royal Institute of International Affairs from the early 50’s that was describing the plan to make environmentalism into a religion. I forgot to bookmark it and have been looking for it.

If you try a strategy to achieve a goal and you fail, the normal person will go back to the drawing board, conceive a new strategy and try it.
When liberals fail to achieve a goal, they grab their family, slit their throats and jump off a cliff with the pet poodle. Liberals are indeed crazy. They’re devolving back into primordial soup.
To: truthguy
Yes, they failed but they also stuck some hard hits.
I hope Zerocare is not one of the successes.....
We all lose with that.
