We already have football.

We hate soccer.

Why would we take to cricket?

American football and baseball are the only two vital aspects of U.S. culture that are not, for the most part, popular elsewhere. I wonder why?

We hate soccer.

Speak for yourself. Soccer is a beautiful game. (But I'll be watching the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets, this afternoon. And I saw the Giants beat the Bears 47-7 in the '56 Championship Game.)
