My work took me to an Octagon size Mall in Lancaster about 8 yrs ago or so...there were bomb threats there..cleared out the whole Mall more than once.
This Mall was huge..8’sections went out from the center court, which that alone was large enough to hold a carousel plus food bays, each section like a typical style mall.
Bingo...
I always carry concealed when going to any mall, and I am particularly well armed during holiday shopping season
What makes it unfeasible??? And what indicates that it has not been attempted, or will be attempted at all in the future???
Anything is possible, no matter how well we are prepared for it, the terrorists only have to be right one time...We have to be right 100% of the time, right???
I hate it as much as you do that this is really a wait and see kind of situation...Because there is not much that can be done to stop it from happening...
That was one of the most diabolical terrorist attacks in history.
I would hope it cannot happen here, but it has already happened on a small scale, when that pervert went into an Amish schoolhouse in Pennsylvania and killed many innocent children.
True. Neither Democrats and most media refuse to identify the cause of most terrorism in the world, yet alone dealing with it. Looking at the UK as an example of what this behavior has wrought, they have sharia law, imams who dictate whether or not they can be deported or prosecuted for incitement and a hotbead of wannabe jihadis in the making (ie Christmas Day crotch-bomber).
The circus trial coming up in NY will be a lectern for terrorists to their wannabes, let alone massive expense in a city and nation that are already in financial crisis mode.
Bin Laden - Goal is to bankrupt US
Snips: "We are continuing this policy in bleeding America to the point of bankruptcy. Allah willing, and nothing is too great for Allah," bin Laden said in the transcript.
As part of the "bleed-until-bankruptcy plan," bin Laden cited a British estimate that it cost al Qaeda about $500,000 to carry out the attacks of September 11, 2001, an amount that he said paled in comparison with the costs incurred by the United States.
"Every dollar of al Qaeda defeated a million dollars, by the permission of Allah, besides the loss of a huge number of jobs," he said. "As for the economic deficit, it has reached record astronomical numbers estimated to total more than a trillion dollars.
That would be January 24, 2009
Today is January 24, 2010
There's a Navy Seal asking why he is being punished for doing his job and an administration including Nancy (she who insinuates the CIA are liars) Pelosi who could care less if he rotted in a cell for doing what Americans expect Navy Seals to do. That Obama will not call Islamic terrorism what it IS and that he will not call for the immediate release of the Navy Seal who did what he was expected to do bodes poorly for what Americans see as a seriously flawed attitude towards the military and towards the CIA and FBI.
Homeland Security has spent substantial effort in fighting Sheriff Joe Arpaio to advance the administration's Amnesty goals and suppressing the apprehension of illegal aliens in our nation.
RE: That would be January 24, 2009
It’s a typo. The actual article ( click on the link ) says it is 01/24/2010.

He is doing a great job with the part about financially breaking us.
Bump.
Sadly, I think the next attacks will occur at schools (like Beslan) or big churches. I hope I am wrong.
Many businesses are moving out of one of our major malls. One shop owner says the mall looks like a ghost town these days. Some target.
I remember the afternoon of the 9-11 attack. I was watching an IDIOT on the news. His JOB was to consider the ways a terrorist attack may be carried out and to prevent them. He said, "no one could have imagined carrying out a terrorist attack like this".
Really? No one? Well obviously SOMEONE imagined it. This same guy would have probably agreed with you, particularly if you had told him on 9-10-2001 that the World Trade Towers can't be brought down because if it were at all feasible the terrorists would have done it already.
I can think of so very many easy targets in the US. So many ways that substantial death and economic problems could be enacted. The idea that they will not happen because thay have not happened yet is beyond laughable.
