>>>Lets see, he’s a heisman winner, winner of two national championships, holds many SEC records as do his team mates of the last 4 years. yeah but he’s not so good. what a crock

Just because one has a great college career does not mean he will excel in the NFL.

Take the example of Chris Weinke - he’s a Heisman winner, winner of one national championship, played in 3 national championship games, finished his Florida State career with a 32–3 record and held numerous FSU records including most passing yards in a career and most career touchdown passes.

Take a look at Heisman winners that played QB in the past 10 years - Troy Smith, Matt Leinart, Jason White, Carson Palmer, Eric Crouch, and Chris Weinke.

Not a terribly strong track record there.

“Take a look at Heisman winners that played QB in the past 10 years ‘

There are more examples of players who excelled in college who went on to excel in the NFL. There are no guarantees but this hatchet job on a good person and a good athlete are silly.
