I think Tom Campbell would be a stronger candidate than Carly Fiorina. Carly unfortunately had chemotherapy not long ago and had to have her hair shaved off.

What does “pro-abortion” even mean? Are you against abortions for women who have been raped, or in cases of incest, or if the woman’s life is in danger?

If so, then you are “pro-abortion”. I am tired of all the pigeon-holing of people.

I’ve been looking over both Devore and Campbell’s websites and they both look good. I can’t see where any of Campbell’s positions would qualify him as a “RINO.” I know Fiona is a feminist hack. Does anyone know of a website that rates each candidate on their positions on key issues so we can make a more informed decision? If Tom falls short on a couple of social issues, but can BEAT BOXER, he’ll get my vote. Things don’t look good for Chuck DeVore right now. Boxer MUST GO!

You say you know him personally. I’ve heard a friendly connection between Sami Al-Arian and Campbell. Can you comment? We would like to know more.

Well Mark, what do you think it means? Wikipedia says “he is a strong supporter of abortion and gay rights”.

Chuck DeVore!! Forget Tom and Carly

Maybe Tom and Carly will split the liberal vote.

Huh? Down 8% to Boxer with 10 months until the election - don't look good? I think DeVore is doing just fine. Campbell is a radical pro-abortion, pro gay "marriage" RINO. Why vote for the Democrat-lite? Conservatives need to get behind DeVore.

Sorry but Tom is no such thing.
He is probably the most intellegent of all the candidates running and has been a Republican for a long time in a state which HATES Republicans.

I respect De Vore and his guts but CA right now won’t elect a pure Conservative.

Oh and I lived in Campbell’s district for 15 years before moving to Oregon.

I don’t like his stand on gay marriage, but would support him if he wins the Republican primary. Barbara Boxer has to be stopped, and I will most certainly work for the better candidate there.

I was shocked frankly that Jim Robinson didn’t lead the attack against Scott Brown who is also “pro-abortion” as you would say. There is no rhyme or reason there.

Campbell: 27%
DeVore: 8%

I’m an Independent so I can’t vote in the primary. I WILL vote for whomever opposed Boxer in November. Saying there’s no difference between Campbell and Boxer is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. BOXER MUST GO!

Campbell is very pro abortion, even voting against the ban of transporting minors, he is anti gun, and he is very much for the "Gay Power" movement, pro gay marriage and gay adoption. Anti-offshore drilling also. The guy is not conservative, he is more of a liberal/libertarian.

If DeVore can win the primary, great. If Campbell wins it, I will be supporting him all the way.

I won’t be doing anything to help Barbara Boxer get re-elected.

I can’t vote in California, but can contribute $$$ and even make phone calls from Florida.

Is the primary over? Is Tom Campbell the Republican nominee now, like Scott Brown, or are you trying to make sure that the progay, proabortion candidate wins the primary over the conservative?

There is no rhyme or reason there.

From what I see, Tom Campbell is a Babs Boxer CLONE.
Chuck DeVore is the true conservative. We have to clean house in this state, and why put another leftist like Boxer in the Senate? And at the personal level, why vote for someone who wants to further destroy your values?

Campbell: 27% DeVore: 8%

And a recent poll showed Hayworth trailing McCain by 22 points. Should we throw in the towel on Hayworth and get behind McCain?

Saying there’s no difference between Campbell and Boxer is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.

Who said that?

BOXER MUST GO!

Agreed. If we are ever to elect a conservative Senator for California, it's going to be in 2010. Might as well support the genuine conservative in the race.

If Tom Campbell can beat Barbara Boxer in 60% Obama CA, anybody who wants to fret about him not being conservative enough is a complete friggin' idiot.

The GOP cannot run a clone army of Jim DeMints for every Senate seat in the country.

Last time I saw a story about a 4 point spread here, with the dem trailing, it was called a tie.

Oh yes there is.
You seem to forget, that without Scott Brown, we would be looking at a Democratic Party super majority in the US Senate that would impose a communist health care system on this country, and grab 17% of the American economy, and put it in the control of 0bama appointed left wing radical apparatchiks, who will decide whether one lives or dies. Not to mention jail you if you refuse to join the abominable 0bamcare program.
It was essential for the well being and the future of this country, that everything be done to make sure Scott Brown won. In case your forget, Scott Brown run on voting against 0bamacare.
