Funny thing. Futures were up this morning and they were attributing it to O’s speech (AP via Yahoo).

Reuters headline this morning: Stock futures rise after Obama speech, earnings

Reuters headline now: Stocks fall on tech earnings, global uncertainty

So, I suppose stocks go up because of O and go down because of market factors.
