Just do it at Gitmo this afternoon, and hang them tomorrow at dawn for freaking FREE!!!WTH !!!! why do we need to spend A QUARTER BILLION dollars to put this scum on trial
IIRC, we spent around $100 million to build, rebuild, and bring GITMO up to speed to house and prosecute these @ssholes back in 2002 or so.
Now, let me get this straight....
the Kenyan has just promised to spend another $200 Million to rebuild a prison in Illinois to house these guys which is exactly what GITMO already does and at greater threat to American citizens and now also wants to spend yet another $200 Million to hold trials for these guys which is exactly what GITMO already does and at a greater threat to American citizens.
Liberal Logic.....

Why doesn't anyone just stand up and say we will not be brought off. Bloomberg and Sen Schummer just use that excuse for cover.

The Romans used to parade their criminals through the city streets before trying them and executing them. Obama behaving like a Roman tyrant? Who woulda thunk it?

Take them 50 miles off the coast of Cuba dump them in the water and point them in the general direction of land.
That doesn’t cost $200 million.

Like we’re flush with cash. I vote for Gitmo and $2.50 for a single .357 round.

I heard now they are ACTUALLY discussing “Military tribunals at Gitmo” for these guys.
Which was the ORIGINAL PLAN.
LOL.

There must be some underground command bunker against nuclear fallout somewhere. Use them. Costs far less and well-secured.

Which is why corrupt cities run by corrupt dems will be coming out of the woodwork to squeeze as much as they can out of the 200 million fund. I’m sure Illinois cities will be in play for this, ofcourse.

It’s a national disgrace that KSM and company are still alive. Western Civilization has lost faith in itself and will fall.

Might be more fun for the squad to have some sort of jihadist trap/skeet event down at gitmo.

The Obama administration is proposing a $200 million fund to help pay for security costs in cities hosting the trials of accused terrorists such as Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (HAH'-leed shayk moh-HAH'-med). $200,000,000?
We could go off shore to a place like, oh...I don't know, Guantanamo or something and it would be much cheaper and safer to boot.
Sheesh, don't these people think at all?

creating jobs again Perhaps slacker-style overtime on the taxpayer nickel has already been promised to policeman's unions. Some government clerk will count 'em as jobs saved!

How the hell did this guy ever convince people to vote for him? Seriously, he is a fool of the first order.
A lack of individual promotion IMO.

Joke trial. Obama knows damn well that if KSM is found not guilty on all counts he will still not be a free man. The military will arrest or new charges will be filed. All this pomp and circumstance crap of giving constitutional rights to foreign terrorists is a joke to stoke Obama’s college professor ego.
