Poor Baby: Obama Inherited 'Hollow Prize' Of United States
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Poor Barack Obama. In becoming president he inherited the "hollow prize" of the United States of America. That was the astounding theory suggested this morning by Melissa Harris-Lacewell.

The Princeton professor of politics and African-American studies bemoaned the president's predicament on Morning Joe today. Apparently this "hollow prize" theory is in vogue in certain circles, used to decry the plight of African-Americans who only rise to powerful political positions in "hollow prize" places like Detroit.

professor of politics and African-American studies

This becomes your major when you realize there's no hope of getting a real degree.

It was on MSLSD too. Americans are waking up to the fact they have elected an incompetent Communist agitator to the Presidency. They are incapable of making a correct decision. Now they are claiming Obama is like all the Black Mayors who get elected to Urban ghettos and fail to improve the situation. Pathetic..Desperate..and Amazing.

So if you destroy something with your neglect and incompetence, it becomes a hollow prize? I think Aesop covered this tale about grapes already.

Think of all the fine cities like Detriot that were wonderful at one time and thriving. And look what liberal PC mindlessnes and job programs have created.

This complainer has negligible Black blood. How the heck does she score a professor job at a university Black Studies Department? Somehow she horned in on the racial spoils system.... And by doing so kept real Blacks out of a job

Oh FGS, so they only get to be the big dude when we’ve already ruined the place.

America as Detroit.

Actually, if this guy gets his way, that is where we’ll end up.

Man ain't much of a man if he can't get his wife to take his name.

I just love to rankle these feminists by telling them, "Wow. So, you couldn't decide which man's name to live with, your father's or the man you married. So, you took both."

He didn't inherit anything.

He asked for the job, and now that he has been shown incapable of performing the job, they now have to come up with this crap to explain why he's failing.

Hollow Prize?

This nation is STILL the best country on earth. But it won't be for long if they continue to bleed it dry.

Yeah -— Key is you guys (and gangstas) hollowed it (city) out and that’s why when you finally got elected it was a hollow prize. Then you took your hollow prize and tried to parlay it into personal gain and you got indicted

Men need to understand the joy of a Biblical Christian woman as a wife, and to reject those women who reject this role.

Of course, they need to BE Biblically Christian MEN to deserve one. God shows His grace, though, and often transforms men and women into what He intended them to be.
