At least we are finding out now who are those in whom we can trust in the fox hole with us when things get tuff, and those in whom we can’t trust.
Friends, this SKIRT is the real issue. BHO,Jr., if he is telling the truth, is the son of a British Colonial Citizen, never naturalized in this country, and never more than a visitor on a visa. Thus one line of due diligence is the "Natural Born Citizen" issue. Obama himself has never claimed "Natural Born Citizen" status. He brazenly tells us he is "qualified" as a "Native Born Citizen," and has shut down all inquiries that seek to verify even that.
The State of Hawaii won't let us know, which is against the law.
As far as I know, every Republican who has been asked has SKIRTed the problem, or what IMHO is worse, misdirected the question to the "born in Hawaii" answer. As long as elected Republican officials SKIRT the problem, nothing will happen.
You are confused, and confusing. A Natural Born Citizen is one whose parents are BOTH citizens at the time of birth. Whether the parents are themselves "Natural Born," or not is of absolutely no consequence.
E.G., Bobby Jindal's parents were not American citizens at the time of his birth, therefore he is not a Natural Born Citizen.
There are also those who would have you believe that a child born on American soil to illegal immigrants is a "Natural Born Citizen." Anchor babies are not Natural Born Citizens. In fact, they ought not to be citizens at all. It is a pernicious custom, not our law.
Team Obama would like you to believe that he is POTUS-eligible because he was born in Hawaii. (a) They have not proven that he was.
(b) Even if he were, he would still not be a "Natural Born Citizen" because his father was not an American citizen.
Because of Obama's circumstances, mixing legal apples and oranges is inevitable. It is this confusion that has enabled Team Obama to consistently dodge the issue. The confusion has also encouraged the "Birthers," as well meaning as they may be, to use confused Dentists as Lawyers.

I was stationed at Pearl from '79 to '81 and lived out on Wheeler Air Force base with my brother and his wife. I can relate to what you mean. To meet someone in Hawaii who said that they were born in Kenya would seem to be something that could be seered into your memory that is for sure. Be safe!

DEAD, wishful thinking. It seems that you have removed the "blinders" from your horse and put them on yourself, or turned into an Ostrich with the head in the sand!
This issue is very well alive and will NOT go away. It is gaining more traction every day, and YOU, the SRM and the so-called "Conservative"(?) talking heads are doing their very best trying to sweep it under the rug!!
It is spreading to Congresses, national and states, and is spreading widely at Tea Parties as well. It's time for you to wake up and smell the coffee, Doc!!!
